- Forum de discussion (si je trouve un moyen de me faciliter le traitement du spam sous spip)

Jolie nouvelle, joli cadeau de fin d’année pour le site Topics&Roses!

Le site est cité sur un quart de page dans cet ouvrage pédagogique de la Documentation française dirigé par Michel Foucher ! Une ressource documentaire sollicitée et mise à disposition des internautes exclusivement par Topics&Roses, conformément à la vocation du site, y a en effet été reprise dans la double page intitulée "Femmes: une émancipation en marche?", en complément d’une photographie et en regard d’un article du Monde disposant de l’espace équivalent sur la page... Une reconnaissance aussi drôle, jolie qu’appréciée... Où la preuve enlevée que Topics&Roses contribue à sa façon aux nouveaux (dés)équilibres mondiaux...

Topics&Roses ne pouvait rater la fête de l’Humanité 2009, placée sous les signes de Jaurès, Manouchian et de la Retirada des Républicains espagnols, mais aussi avec Louise Michel et Rosa Luxembourg à l’honneur. Toute une histoire, un héritage, parties prenantes des mémoires nationale et européenne.

L’occasion de croiser bien sûr les féministes de Femmes Solidaires et bien d’autres encore au gré du Village du Monde et autres stands.

Fourteen activists from the organisation Women of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA), including WOZA leaders Jenni Williams and Magadonga Mahlangu, were arrested on 28 May and are still being held under harsh prison conditions, as begins today the Eleventh Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union Heads of State and Government from 30 June to 1st July 2008, in Sharm El-Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt. The Zimbabwean crisis will be a major topic during the Summit. How to mark 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence (Zimbabwe)

While president Mugabe’s participation is challenged in Lisbon at African-European Summit by journalists reporting about social and political realities in Zimbabwe, we publish recent news by WOZA itself, both about repression and last big demonstration against Gender Violence. Two women activists arrested during a meeting are indeed currently in custody, WOZA calls to put pressure. Besides, around 1,000 of their activists marched on November 27, 2007 to mark the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence officially beginning the day after. The peaceful yet enthusiastic protest also commemorated the anniversary of the 29 November launch of the People’s Charter last year. The late Maria Moyo, who recently passed away after the trauma of being abducted by police, was also in the minds and hearts of members... > weiter

Maria Moyo (15 March 1950 - 6 November 2007) - a shero remembered - a life celebrated... Maria Moyo was born on 15 March 1950 in Gwanda. She died on 6 November 2007, aged 57 years. She was married with 9 children and her last born is a Grade 4 pupil. She left behind 12 grandchildren. She did her primary education in Gwanda at Siboza Primary School up to Standard 4. She joined the liberation struggle in 1970’s and went to Zambia and Botswana. She joined WOZA at its formation in 2003 and was normally in the front of the protests and normally one of the first to be arrested. She was arrested 10 times and was once kept in solitary confinement in Sauerstown Police station. Maria was often just picked up from her home for no apparent reason. > weiter
